I’m a single mom based in Albany, seeking a full-time nanny for my one-year-old son, Jaice. We are looking for someone with a nurturing personality who can offer consistency and a warm, positive environment for Jaice to grow and thrive. You should be experienced with young children, proactive in planning daily activities, and enthusiastic about supporting Jaice’s learning and development.

Job Responsibilities

Provide dedicated and attentive care for Jaice throughout the day, handling tasks such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and engaging in activities.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, following guidelines for Jaice’s diet.
Maintain Jaice’s daily routine, including naps and meal times to support a stable and healthy schedule.
Supervise and engage in active play, both indoors and outdoors, encouraging Jaice’s exploration and development in safe environments.
Manage outings, including trips to nearby parks or local activities, when appropriate.
Development and Learning Activities
Organize age-appropriate educational activities that support Jaice’s cognitive, motor, and social development.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene
Monitor Jaice’s health and well-being, responding proactively to any concerns.
Keep play areas clean and organized, and ensure toys and equipment are sanitized regularly.
Maintain a safe environment and be vigilant, especially as Jaice becomes more mobile and curious.

Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience caring for infants or toddlers, with a strong understanding of child development.
First Aid & CPR Certification: Up-to-date certifications are required (or willingness to obtain).
Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are welcome but not required.
Personal Traits: Warm, reliable, proactive, and patient, with a genuine love for children.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, carry, and play with an active toddler, including engaging in daily outings.
