A little bit about us

My wife and I are looking for someone to help decompress our schedule by looking after our two girls in the afternoons and some evenings. We have two daughters, Gemma age 5 just started TK at Providence Day and Wren, age 2.5yrs is at Providence Prep daycare. We would need someone between 4pm to 6pm a couple days a week, and possibly one or 2 nights to later 7-8pm. We would know these days a few weeks in advance and are not always required. We do have a dachshund who is friendly. Responsibilities would be to entertain the kids in the afternoon, help with dinner, bath and bedtime. We are also open to any additional help.

We have a dog and a cat in the house, which you would not be expected to care for, but you would need to be comfortable with. I work one week on (10hr shifts Tues-Tues) followed by one week off, while my husband works a typical 9a-5p. In an ideal world we would have someone who is willing to work ~8:30-6 M-Fr one week and then part time the following week resulting in around 60-70hrs of work over 2wks. Bottle prep, loading and unloading bottle washer and helping with the boys laundry, would be expected. Huge plus if you have experience with multiples!

We are a smoke free household. Currently not allowing any screen time for our boys. We would expect anyone watching our kids to be up to date on all vaccines including flu. We are not requiring the covid vaccine. Reliability is very important to us so having your own car is a must.
