We’re a happy family looking for a kind and experienced live-in housekeeper/nanny to join us long-term. The role is 70% housekeeping, 30% childcare. Unfortunately our nanny is moving out for medical reasons after 4 years with us. You are welcome to talk to her so she can share her experiences living with our family.
We offer private accommodations, a warm, respectful home, and a stable, long-term position. You can also have outside babysitting engagements in your free time.
Helper needs to be experienced in house cleaning , prior live in position, well organized, detailed oriented and enjoy having fun with kids.
Children are 5 & 8 yo, both at school 8-4; they are fun and well behaved.
Position can be part time or full time.
We are close to Stonybrook University, train to NYC, walking distance to Starbucks, Supermarket, etc

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Cerini Family with 1 Child
Adorable and loving baby girl named Ember Rose looking for a caretaker to help out while her mommy and daddy are working from home.
This is a low-stress position perfect for first time nannys or students. Both my partner and I work from home and will be here all day with you, we just need help so that we can focus on our jobs during the day.
In addition to little Ember Rose, we also have two loving dogs: Castor (maltipoo) and Ajax (mini-bernedoodle).
Responsibilities include the following:
- Feeding Ember
- Playing with Ember
- Loving Ember
- Tummy-time at least once a day
- Changing diapers
- Light housework, such as helping to prepare Ember's bottles and steam cleaning them
- Letting pups out to pee/run
Days/hours:
Monday - Friday 10 am - 5:30 pm
NOTE - If you are only available for part of the time, we are open to hiring multiple nannys to get full-coverage.

Looking for part time nanny to possibly turn full time down the line. My son is 15 months old and very active so high energy is necessary! I work from home for the most part so I would be home most days as well. For now the role would be focused on my toddler but we’re expecting again in April, so at that point the responsibility would switch to focus on the new baby (after my maternity leave & I return to work), so must be comfortable with an infant. The role does include light work around the house; picking up toys, washing bottles, cleaning up after baby’s meals, baby laundry etc. All work would be specific to the baby only. If interested in earning more we can add other household chores. Open to discussing options! *must be Covid vaccinated and have a flu shot or plan on receiving one.

The position would be guaranteed 28h/wk: Tuesday and Wednesday 8-5, and Thursday 7-5. We do need someone with a little flexibility as there will be some Mondays and Fridays where we will need help- maybe once or twice a month, and perhaps a later night or two occasionally based on Ann’s work. We’re first time parents, and hoping to find someone that will enrich our little guy while we’re away, and help him follow a routine. Also, we would love some help with light cleaning around our house and the baby’s laundry. We also do have a cat who is well behaved and will generally leave you alone.
