A little bit about us

Hi there, my name is Lyn and I am helping my daughter and son-in-law find a consistent and experienced, nanny to provide support for their family during a challenging season.

The children are girls, ages 15 months, 3 years, and 5 years old, with a 9-year-old sibling occasionally present.

This is a loving, high-energy and we are seeking someone who can balance warmth and patience with consistency, routine, and gentle structure.

Their father works full-time as a nurse, and their mother is experiencing a high-risk pregnancy that requires frequent hospitalizations. As a result, the family needs a caring, confident adult who can help provide consistency, structure, and emotional stability for the children.

The ideal nanny will be warm, patient, and nurturing while also being comfortable maintaining routines, setting appropriate boundaries, and following through with expectations. Experience caring for multiple young children at once is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities may include:
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities
• Maintaining daily routines and schedules
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Assisting with naps and basic childcare needs
• Light housekeeping related to the children
• Providing a calm, reassuring presence during periods when Mom is hospitalized
• Building an ongoing relationship with the children so they have consistency and familiarity during family disruptions

These are sweet, loving children who are navigating a difficult family situation and would benefit greatly from a stable, caring adult becoming part of their support system.

The schedule is somewhat flexible, but we hope to find someone who can continue working with the family even when Mom is home so the children can maintain a trusted and familiar relationship during future hospital stays.
