Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

* A trained, experienced nanny who is confident caring for two infants at once
* Someone who is attentive to the twins’ health, including feeding, sleep, hygiene and any signs of illness, and who will tell us promptly about any concerns
* A proactive approach to development, with daily play and stimulation suited to each baby’s age and milestones, and a good understanding of how each twin is progressing
* A warm, nurturing and patient personality who creates a calm, secure environment for the babies
* Consistency and structure, with reliable routines for feeding, naps and play, while staying flexible as the twins grow
* Open, honest communication, including daily updates and a collaborative approach with us as parents
* Respect for our parenting choices, with a willingness to follow our guidance and share ideas
* Reliability, good judgment and a calm manner under pressure
* Infant CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain it)

Someone with a playful, patient, and loving spirit is ideal. We are looking for 40 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. My wife is a fellow at UCLA and I’m a dentist so missing time from work is complicated. We are currently in daycare and love her interaction with other kids her age, but the number of daycare illnesses has made it difficult for us to make it to work consistently. Our girl is allergic to peanuts, we have none in the apartment, and we would train you how to use an EpiPen in case of emergency. If you delight in the tiniest of tots, we would love to meet you.

I work from home and my husband works at a refinery, we need someone to come to our house and watch our kids from 9-4 M-T for at least the next year. We have 2 dogs but no dog duties and dogs will be outside during work hours, car is not required as there is no driving of the children. All meals will be prepared and just need heating, house cleaners come on Mondays so no heavy housework other than toy clean up.
