Full-Time Nanny Job: The Laynes Family with 2 Children
Looking for someone to engage my toddler while I take care of the newborn! He is almost 3 and loves sports (soccer, hockey, football, etc.!) and magnatiles/blocks. He is very communicative and expresses himself well. Lots of energy, lots of fun! A very sweet boys. He also loves reading and story times. We are new to Roanoke area and would love him to get to have new experiences. We have a black lab dog in the house so must be comfortable around large dogs. Looking for Monday-Friday and ideally if possible 4-6 weekends (Sat + Sun) throughout the year (with advanced notice and planning) when my husband is on work trips. Mornings start around 6:30 am. I work as an ICU RN. I have 3 children. A mostly self sufficient 17-year-old. A 9-year-old Daughter and a 6-year-old Son. The 17-year-old has a job and a car. He is a senior in High school. The 9-year-old is active with friends and takes horse lessons. The 6-year-old is into Legos and loves being home.
I only work 1-3 12 hour shifts during the week.

It's only about 6 hours a day, 2 days a week for the most part. Weekends are covered by family.
I might need help taking kids to counseling. Their father committed suicide July 25 of last year so they are still dealing with that. I do try to schedule my appointments when I'm off of work. However I am in my masters program for Mental Health NP. So having someone to help me is imperative.
Dependability, Kindness, Interaction, Help set and maintain routines. Help taking medications, meals and having someone involved. Is what I'm looking for.
I have 3 pets. A doofy, ear scratching loving Golden Retriever Eleanor. A orange Cat, Meko, who has Orange Cat energy. A Grey cat, Bert, who just want hugs.
