Part-Time Nanny Job: The Bri Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a caring, patient nanny for our active and curious 20-month-old boy. He is at a wonderful age where he loves exploring, listening to stories, and playing outside. He is very attached to his family, so we primarily need a nanny who can gently guide him through daily routine transitions and keep him engaged.
What days/hours will they work?
• Schedule: Monday through Friday (5 days a week).
• Hours: Part-time mornings. A typical shift will run from breakfast time until nap time (approx. 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 5 hours per day, totaling 25 hours per week).
• End of Shift: You are free to clock out as soon as he is down for his nap!
Any responsibilities or expectations to share?
Our ideal nanny will focus strictly on childcare, routine transitions, and basic mealtime routine. Grandparents will be working or resting on-site, so your main role is to bridge the gap during transitions so he stays happy and occupied.
• Mealtime: Feed him breakfast and lunch. All meals and snacks will be fully prepared ahead of time by parents—no cooking required!
• Engagement: Lead interactive story time and provide monitored playtime in our fenced backyard.
• Nap Routine: Wind him down and successfully put him down for his midday nap.
• Exclusions: No driving, no pick-ups or drop-offs, and no pet care required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with toddlers (specifically around the 1.5 to 2-year mark).
• High emotional intelligence and patience to handle separation anxiety or transition tantrums.
• CPR and First Aid certifications
