Part-Time Nanny Job: The Miller Family with 1 Child
Our family is in need of a long-term infant nanny for our 6-month-old son. We are located in Chandler (Near Cooper and Pecos). We are looking for someone to start around August 17, 2026, with a paid trial day or transition period beforehand if schedules allow. My wife and I, we both work from home and may occasionally say hi, but we will respect the nanny's rhythm and will avoid disrupting naps, feeds, and transitions. We also have a hypoallergenic dog, she won't be the caregivers responsibility but she might ask for a belly rub every once-in-a-while.
We're hoping to build a warm, respectful, long-term relationship with a nanny who feels like a trusted part of our son's early years. We offer guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays, a W-2 household employee position paid through payroll, and a predictable weekday schedule.
Child related duties:
- Infant care: feeds, bottle prep, soothing, safe sleep, tummy time
- age-appropriate, engaged play, reading, walks and outdoor time when the weather allows, and minimal/no screen time.
- Track feeds/meals/naps (There’s an app for that)
- Child related laundry + nursery tidying
- Child Meal preparation
Qualifications:
- Interested in a long term position (minimum 1 year but ideally 3+)
- Minimum 2+ years infant experience with references
- Willingness to participate in a background check and obtain an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Infant CPR/First Aid
- Knowledge of infant development (sleep, feeding, milestones)
- Non-smoker, background check required
- Reliable transportation needed for commuting; no child driving required at this time.
- Proactive, reliable, and safety-minded
- Honest, trustworthy, and dependable (this role is essential to our home, so attendance and timeliness is very important)
Pay and Details:
- Monday - Friday 8am-2pm
- $20/hr (W-2 / Payroll)
- 5 PTO / Sick Days + 10 Paid Holidays
- We are open to an annual review and pay adjustment based on performance and role needs.

Josie's a sweet girl and very easy going! We also have an 18-year-old cat, Tilly, who generally keeps to herself, but does like some pets sometimes.
