A little bit about us

I have a 4 almost 5 year old little boy named Holden. I work nights as a pediatric hospitalist and my husband works for himself, long and irregular hours from home. I love being part of Holdens morning routine. I take him to school, stay for chapel, and pick him up Monday-Friday all through this last year of preschool. We need a better more structured routine for after school and weekends. I am taking a lot of time off of work to spend with Holden this summer while he is off from school and I need the support and care of someone who truly wants to become part of our lives in a way that enriches everyone’s experience of living and growing and learning together. I want someone in Holdens life that enriches it, that makes him feel safe and secure and like he has someone he can trust and count on to help him out and someone that helps me out as well. We have a dog and cat, we like to cook and entertain at home but it would be nice to have the freedom to go out without Holden occasionally and know that the time he is spending with you is time well spent. I have goals for Holden this summer including swim lessons, karate, tennis lessons, and some emotional/social developmental activities via parent/child interactive therapy with a professional. He also will continue to work with an occupational therapist and do some light tutoring to keep up his new skills (knowing letters, starting to understand sounds letters make, etc). We are also looking for some activities in the arts such as dance, music, acting, art/painting, or storytelling enrichment activities. I would also want help coordinating with other moms to organize social activities and where he can get together and connect with friends. We would pay for a nanny pass for our swim/tennis club and we have a private bed/bath with private entrance/exit if overnights are required. We have an Audi station wagon you can drive full time.
