The Pippitt Family - Hiring in Pretty Praire
The Pippitt Family
Pretty Praire, KS
18.00/hr
2 kids
A little bit about us…We have two little boys. Kade is 1.5 months old and Aiden is 4.5 years old. We work from home and own our own business so having the convenience of an in home nanny as well as consistent and reliable child care during the week is very important.

We are looking for help Monday - Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm

We are looking to find someone with experience caring for children and would prefer previous nanny/preschool experience. We would also like for interested applicants to have CPR and First Aid Certification.

Ideally, interested candidates will become, in essence, part of the family and will help support us as parents so we are able to do our jobs, but also maintain the rules and expectations we have for our children. Children thrive off of love, but also the structure of clearly knowing what is and is not allowed. This way our children can continue to develop into well rounded, kind members of society.

Duties include:
- Helping get bottles/meals/snacks prepared for the boys.
- Maintaining toilet training for Aiden.
- Diaper changes for Kade.
- Bath time for both boys.
- Maintaining a well rounded routine of independent play, interactive play, story time, learning activities, developing fine & gross motor skills and physical exercise.
- Laying the boys down for nap time.
- Light housework/dishes/laundry during nap time and independent play.
- Maintaining behavioral expectations and communicating clearly with both of the boys about those expectations and following through with appropriate consequences for their actions. (i.e. time outs, toys being put in time out, losing privileges/treats - specifically with Aiden currently)
- Clearly communicating updates on how the boys' days were as well as communicating throughout the day any important changes, issues for concern or questions.
