Babysitter Job: The Clark Family with 3 Children
We have a 3-year-old, a 6-year-old and very soon we'll have a newborn. We're looking for somebody that will be able to watch the children occasionally for the next few months and then starting in January it will be much more full-time, possibly 20 to 30 hours a week. You'd be responsible for a newborn at that time. That would be 4 to 5 months old. There are no special needs. There are no diet restrictions or anything like that. The two older children are quite easy to deal with, but with a newborn it can be challenging managing all three at once we're looking for an experience Nanny who has availability particularly next year. And could potentially be something full-time depending on how it works out.
Babysitter Job: The Yen Family with 1 Child
Hi! We’re a family of three (plus our friendly cat, Eve!) who moved to Indianapolis from New York in December. I’m originally from London, so we’re still fairly new to the area and are looking to build a small group of reliable, trusted babysitters.
Our biggest priority is finding someone who would be comfortable staying overnight with our daughter, Stella, for a few nights on the occasional trip when both my husband and I are away. We’d love to find someone she gets to know well beforehand, so we’re also looking for occasional babysitting on weekdays and weekends, usually 2–3 times a week. We’re based in downtown Indianapolis, so it would be a bonus if you live nearby.
Stella is 18 months old and a happy, curious toddler. She loves singing nursery rhymes, counting everything she sees, reading books, chatting away, and anything to do with animals. She enjoys being outdoors and has a dedicated playroom at home, plus memberships to local play cafés and The Children’s Museum. We also regularly visit the nearby park and Central Library.
She has a great routine, waking at 7:00 am, taking a 2½–3 hour nap each afternoon, going to bed at 7:30 pm, and sleeping through the night. She’ll be starting daycare in September/October for around 4–5 hours a day.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, kind, energetic, and genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers through play, books, songs, conversation, and outdoor adventures.
Responsibilities include heating and serving Stella’s meals, tidying up after playtime, putting her dishes in the dishwasher/emptying it, throwing laundry into the wash when needed, and, during overnight stays, feeding our friendly cat, Eve.
We’re hoping to find someone who can become a familiar, trusted person in Stella’s life. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Edwards Family with 1 Child
My husband owns bounce houses, I am in HR. Our daughter is 15 months old and is super funny.
I have been working from home since before I was pregnant but my company has been bought and they are eliminating my position. I have received an offer but it is in person and I have trauma from my own experience with daycare so I’m wanting to hire someone to come and nanny in our home.
I am currently working out what the schedule will look like but it’s more than likely going to be somewhere around 10-330 T-F for sure. Some Mondays may be needed from time to time.
So anywhere from 22-28 hours per week. I am in the Indianapolis/Camby area.
This position would be ideal for a college student or 2 that might have opposite days in school(ie: one has class Tu,Th and the other has class M,W,F).
You are able to do your homework or work on your computer while watching her. She’s a lot of fun and loves Ms. Rachel! We usually play that and have dance parties when I take short breaks from working during the day.
Her nap time varies but is usually between[phone number hidden]. She eats when she wakes up at 930, has a snack or meal around 12, and another snack or meal around 230(whenever she wakes up).
We have 2 dogs and 2 cats which you won’t need to do much with, it’s just important to know just in case you’re allergic!
Overall she is easy and why not get paid to do your schoolwork?!
