A little bit about us

We are looking for a sweet, loving, caring, kind, calm and very patient nanny (live in/live out) ASAP for my daughter who is around 2 and half years old. Someone who enjoys playing with a toddler and can read lots of books, do games, puzzles, and activities with her. Hours are flexible
Hours, on days she has school: 6:30 am - 8:30am; 11:30 am - 6:30pm.
Hours on days she has no school: 8:30 am - 6:30pm.
Should be flexible to stay late if needed. She goes to school 3/4 days a week.

Light housekeeping like healthy meal preparation for my daughter (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks), washing/folding her clothes, unloading the dishwasher, keeping her toys/room organized.

Preference for someone who can speak a second language like Spanish/Mandarin/French but not required. My daughter understands Spanish, she used to speak in Spanish with her previous (live-in) nanny (she was totally amazing but she got engaged and had to move out). This position could be a live in/live out. We live in the Port Washington/Manhasset area. Looking for someone long term for at least a year (if not, someone who can help us out in October, as we found another wonderful nanny but she had already made travel plans for October )
