We have a 15 month old toddler and we would be needing help taking care of him during the weekdays. He has a fairly consistent daily routine and we are hoping to find someone who can build a friendly bond with him through play while keeping him safe and well cared for. Responsibilities include preparing and feeding his meals, engaging in age-appropriate play activities, helping with nap times and sleep routines, and performing light housekeeping related to the baby, such as cleaning up after meals and playtime.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Cinco Family with 1 Child
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hoff Family with 1 Child
I am looking to hire a nanny for my son, who will be 18 months in August. The position is Weds - Friday from 9am - 3:30pm and the pay is negotiable, but around $20/hour.
More details: We are a south Minneapolis family (Longfellow neighborhood) and I'm starting my therapy internship this fall. I need a reliable nanny who understands child development and is able to spend time doing enriching activities with my son. I also have a daughter who will be in pre-school during those hours.
We'll need to talk through the exact schedule, but should there be any cross-over time where the nanny is watching both children, we would increase pay to ~$25/hour.
My working hours will be at the office. My husband works from home but has an office and stays quite busy - that said, he would be available for emergencies and especially to help with on-boarding.
Ideally, this position would be a long-term position and last for at least a few years. We would like our nanny to be registered with the state so that we can partially pay through our dependent care funds. More details about W2 employment can be discussed when we find the right candidate. We would provide a 30 minute lunch break, and we would be open to figuring out paid sick time and/or PTO.
A little bit about my son: he's a very easy-going guy who is hitting all of his developmental milestones. He loves to be active outdoors and enjoys time with trusted adults and other children. My daughter is similar, though the nanny would spend less time with her (except during summer holidays). Both of my kids are very well adjusted, empathetic, trusting children and I'd like to find someone who can help continue nurturing that in them.
