Full-Time Nanny Job: The Ho Family with 1 Child

We are two Vanderbilt University professors who are moving to the Green Hills area and are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic nanny who loves caring for children. Our two-year-old daughter will need a full-time nanny starting in early August. She is a happy, independent little girl who loves to dance, play with Legos, color, and read picture books. A typical day would include making sure she has her milk and meals, supporting her potty training, playing and helping her develop emotional and instrumental skills, and reading to her. Additional duties would include doing her laundry, washing her cups and dishes, and making sure her spaces are tidy. This is a full-time, live-out position. The ideal candidate is a non-smoker who has reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and experience caring for young children. We hope to find a nanny who can care for our child for years to come. We expect to pay a competitive wage and can provide guaranteed hours. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, and major holidays.

Part-Time Babysitter Needed – East Nashville Family with Sweet 2 & 4-Year-Olds
Hi! We’re a family of four in East Nashville looking for a kind, reliable, and engaging babysitter to join our regular rotation. We’re hoping to find someone who can help with weekend babysitting a couple times a month and support us on specific school late start and early dismissal days during the school year.

This role would be a great fit for someone who enjoys playful, talkative kids and is looking for something recurring and part-time with a thoughtful, communicative family.

About Us
We have two kids — Callum (4) and Lila (2) — who are incredibly sweet, energetic, and wonderful together. Babysitting would usually include caring for both of them, though school-related pickups and drop-offs are just for Callum.

• Callum loves sports, climbing, riding his bike, anything sweet, and Disney movies.

• Lila is into singing, dancing, playing games, following her big brother, and also Disney movies.

Weekend Babysitting (~2x/Month)
We’re looking for someone available about twice a month for weekend help — sometimes Saturday evenings, sometimes during the day.

These will be planned in advance (you’ll get at least a week's notice), and may include group playdates with friends or time just with our two kids. If you’re looking for something consistent and joyful — without committing every weekend — this could be a great fit.

School Support (Specific Dates Only)

We also need help on a handful of late start mornings and early dismissal afternoons throughout the school year.

Late Start Mornings (7:30–9:00 AM + drop-off for Callum):
• September 8
• October 6
• November 3
• December 1
• March 2
• May 4

Early Dismissals (11:45 AM–5:30 PM):
• November 11
• December 19
• March 19
• April 3
• May 21

Details
• Location: East Nashville
Pay: $23–25/hour depending on experience
