Need help around the house as well. Light cleaning (picking up/tidying, putting away kids laundry, loading and unloading dishwasher etc). We both work full time and just need an extra set of hands to help with kids and the house. We have a small dog that does not require any care, but is in the house. He's a non shedding cavapoo. We live in the Green Hills area in a newer construction home. We are a nice normal family 🙂 and looking for someone to be a good fit for us and our needs during this season of life. Sometimes we just need someone to entertain the kids for a hour and give them a bath at night. This is a 20-30 hour a week gig with some off weeks while we are traveling.

My wife and I welcomed our baby daughter, Cameron, in October 2024. I work as a consultant and my wife works at a corporate tech company. We are looking for someone to help with our daughter part-time. The hours could be about 2:00pm to 8pm Tuesday & Wednesday. We are looking for a family assistant who could help with grocery shopping, light housekeeping and tidying work, small task errands (FedEx Returns, etc.). We are willing to guarantee 12 hours a week but may need to increase hours Monday-Wednesday if our daughter gets sick and cannot attend daycare.
Thank you so much and we look forward to meeting you!

We live in East Nashville and have a 5th grader and a 2nd grader, a small dog and a guinea pig. The kiddos are sweet, gentle, artsy and fun!
I will be out of town from Oct-Dec but am divorced. The kids would need to be fully cared for on the days that they are at my house, including driving, running errands, packing lunches, etc. Expecting someone that would live-in on those days. This is short term for now.
Looking for someone who loves kids and will help them feel safe as part of our family during this time.

How much do nannies make in Nashville, TN?
What are the typical responsibilities and duties of a nanny job in Nashville?
Nanny responsibilities can vary depending on the specific needs of the family you're working with. However, common nanny duties include childcare tasks such as feeding, bathing, and changing diapers, as well as other tasks like cooking, cleaning, and helping with homework. If you're looking to find a nanny job in Nashville, consider the range of activities that the city has to offer. For example, you may also be asked to take the children on outings to local attractions like the Nashville Zoo, the Adventure Science Center, or the Nashville Public Library's puppet shows. How does the nanny interview process work in Nashville?
The nanny interview process typically begins with a phone or video call, followed by one or two in-person interviews. Some families in Nashville might also request a trial period where you spend a day or a few hours with the children before making a final decision. During these interviews, you'll likely be asked a range of nanny interview questions to assess your experience, skills, and fit with the family. It's also your opportunity to ask any questions you have about the role, the children, and the parents' expectations.
What is a nanny contract and why is it important?
A nanny contract is a formal agreement between the nanny and the family outlining the terms of employment. It typically includes details such as hours of work, salary, overtime, vacation time, job responsibilities, and termination conditions. Having such a contract is crucial as it ensures both parties have clear expectations and can help prevent potential disputes down the line.
What should I know about nanny payroll and salary in Nashville?
If you are hired as a nanny in Nashville, it's important to understand how nanny payroll works. The family you work for is legally considered your employer, and they are responsible for withholding taxes from your salary and paying their portion of employment taxes. Many families use a nanny payroll service to handle these responsibilities. Regarding the salary, nannies in Nashville can expect to earn an average salary that is competitive with the rest of the country. How do background checks work when trying to find a nanny job in Nashville?
