Seeking Nanny/Teacher · Christian In-Home Learning Pod
Nashville, TN · 18 Mo–2 Yrs · Up to 4 Children
We’re seeking a warm, faith-filled teacher/caregiver to lead a small, structured in-home day school in Nashville. This is not a babysitting role — it’s a curriculum-driven environment built around four pillars: early reading by age 2–2.5, potty training, Christian foundations & Fruits of the Spirit, and early math, manners, and social-emotional development. We are hiring 1–2 teachers with full-time and part-time options available.
Responsibilities
• Lead daily schedule: circle time, phonics, Bible story, math, arts, outdoor play & closing circle
• Implement weekly letter-of-the-week, memory verses, and Fruit of the Spirit curriculum
• Guide potty training with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement
• Supervise meals, nap time, and all daily transitions
• Keep classroom clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the day
• Reset and fully prepare the classroom for the following school day before departing
Qualifications
• Experience with toddlers 18 months–3 years — required
• Early childhood education, preschool, or structured nannying background — preferred
• Christian values and comfort with faith-based curriculum — required
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Patient, dependable, organized, and joyful
• Non-smoker · Reliable transportation · Clear background check
You’re the right fit if you love toddlers, believe faith and learning go hand in hand, take pride in a prepared and peaceful classroom, and understand that consistency is love at this age.
Schedule & Pay
Mon–Fri · 7:30 AM–5:30 PM · Private Nashville home
Pay varies based on experience and full-time or part-time status.
To apply, share a brief intro, your toddler experience, and your approach to early childhood education.

Full-Time Nanny Needed – West Nashville (The Nations)

Hi! We are relocating from Utah and are looking for a full-time nanny to join our family long-term. We have two boys, ages 4 and 1. Our 4-year-old will be in full-time preschool, so most of the day will be spent with our 1-year-old. I will be working as a dermatology resident at Vanderbilt and my husband is in tech sales. He will primarily work from home but also travel frequently. We also have a very friendly 6-year-old Golden Retriever!

Schedule & Pay:
- Starting end of June
- Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 or 5:45 PM
- Occasional earlier mornings when my husband is traveling
- Occasional overnight care when I am on call and my husband is out of town. This would be very low effort and simply involve staying overnight in our home while the children sleep
- $22 to $25 per hour depending on experience
-Guaranteed 30 hrs per week
-Paid holidays
-1 week paid vacation

About the role:
Main focus will be caring for our 1-year-old, including feeding, naps, changing diapers, and play while supporting developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities. You will also handle preschool drop-off and pick-up for our 4-year-old. We are a low screen-time, active household and value outdoor time and community activities. We plan to have memberships and passes to places like
- Nashville Zoo
- Adventure Science Center
- Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

Light household help:
- Tidy shared areas during the day
- Boys’ laundry once per week
- Occasional help with dinner prep or groceries

We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, responsible, and consistent
- Is patient and kind
- Enjoys being active and engaged
- Takes initiative and communicates well
- Wants a long-term position

We are hoping to find someone who will truly become part of our family and build a meaningful relationship with our boys. If this sounds like a good fit, please message me! We would love to connect.

A little bit about us

Family is looking for enthusiastic, nanny with experience in helping special needs child.

Family is asking to have nanny watch 5 year child for 4-5 hours daily on weekdays and some Sundays.

Child has developmental & speech delays. Toddler needs special attention.

A typical day for the nanny will be helping the 5 year old throughout the afternoon while engaging child in daily activity following ABA. This will also include helping toddler with eating, potty training and overall daily care.

Some light cooking will also be required some days throughout the week for toddler ( mostly heating food up in oven or microwave oven😅). Cooking will only be for toddler throughout the day if needed.

Nanny will occasionally help with older two children drop off to their activities. Locations are typically less than 10 miles from the home. So nanny must have an active drivers license and a reliable car.

Thanks for looking and we look forward to hearing from you. 😀

Also our dog is very friendly and only weights 8 pounds. She is a St Charles Cavalier Spaniel. But will likely be put away during the time you are sitting for us. 🤩

A little bit about us

We need a little help with childcare. Both kids are in preschool programs. Our daughter has Down syndrome, but doesn't have any special needs per se that pertain to her care. She's potty training and in pull ups and our son is not potty trained.

Need help around the house as well. Light cleaning (picking up/tidying, putting away kids laundry, loading and unloading dishwasher etc). We both work full time and just need an extra set of hands to help with kids and the house. We have a small dog that does not require any care, but is in the house. He's a non shedding cavapoo. We live in the Green Hills area in a newer construction home. We are a nice normal family 🙂 and looking for someone to be a good fit for us and our needs during this season of life. Sometimes we just need someone to entertain the kids for a hour and give them a bath at night. This is a 20-30 hour a week gig with some off weeks while we are traveling.

We are looking for someone to manage pickup from daycare and to be available for extended hours.
