We’re seeking a warm, faith-filled teacher/caregiver to lead a small, structured in-home day school in Nashville. This is not a babysitting role — it’s a curriculum-driven environment built around four pillars: early reading by age 2–2.5, potty training, Christian foundations & Fruits of the Spirit, and early math, manners, and social-emotional development. We are hiring 1–2 teachers with full-time and part-time options available.
Responsibilities
• Lead daily schedule: circle time, phonics, Bible story, math, arts, outdoor play & closing circle
• Implement weekly letter-of-the-week, memory verses, and Fruit of the Spirit curriculum
• Guide potty training with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement
• Supervise meals, nap time, and all daily transitions
• Keep classroom clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the day
• Reset and fully prepare the classroom for the following school day before departing
Qualifications
• Experience with toddlers 18 months–3 years — required

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Patient, dependable, organized, and joyful
• Non-smoker · Reliable transportation · Clear background check
You’re the right fit if you love toddlers, believe faith and learning go hand in hand, take pride in a prepared and peaceful classroom, and understand that consistency is love at this age.

We live in East Nashville and have a 5th grader and a 2nd grader, a small dog and a guinea pig. The kiddos are sweet, gentle, artsy and fun!
I will be out of town from Oct-Dec but am divorced. The kids would need to be fully cared for on the days that they are at my house, including driving, running errands, packing lunches, etc. Expecting someone that would live-in on those days. This is short term for now.
Looking for someone who loves kids and will help them feel safe as part of our family during this time.
