My wife and I are looking for a part time nanny for our 6 month old, full of life, daughter. Covid vaccination and all boosters as well as TDAP are required. CPR/first aid certification is also required. Hours will be between 9am 3pm most days of the week (but usually more like 11am-3pm) We both work from home (in our own offices) and I plan to continue breastfeeding every few hours. (Our daughter will take a bottle if something comes up.) It is very important to us that her nanny is engaging and interactive. We don’t allow much screen time during the day, but she has tons of toys etc. We also have a rescue dog and cat. Our nanny won’t really need to do pet care, but notifying for allergy purposes and so that applicants are comfortable. We really want someone who is willing to work with us and allow us to see our daughter briefly throughout the day. She generally has no problem when we leave or with sitters. We live in Edgewater. Our kids’ school, grocery store, restaurants, gym, and other activities are all right around the corner- although we do have three vehicles so our Au Pair will be able to travel once licensed. Though we have a large family, since I work only part time our au pair will not be responsible for all 5 children at all times and will likely have a significant amount of off time, we want to be sure that everyone is happy with the arrangement and enjoying the time we spend together to the fullest!
Initially, we're looking for help Tuesday and Thursday full day (9-5), plus a half day on Friday. This is fluid however, and we can work to accommodate schedule needs. Thanks for looking!

Work would be around 18-20 hours per week. The work would be 2 days a week around 9 hours a day with possibilities for a few extra hours on as need basis. Our current nanny’s last day is September 1st so the ideal start date would be in September 2024. The hours would roughly be 7:30 to 4:30 each day.
Our number one goal is to be respectful of you and your personal time. Clean and loving home. We would love if it worked out long term and you felt like an extension of our loving family!
We do have a boxer dog but he would be in a crate when you are alone with baby. Bonus if you like dogs though!
A background check will be ran before hiring.
