A little bit about us

I’m looking for dependable, loving childcare workers (ages 14 and up) to care for children at our church during our MomCo (formally MOPS). We meet at Northwest Gospel church near the Costco in Camas two Tuesday mornings per month.

Childcare workers should love Jesus, be able to pass a background check, and be physically capable of caring for young children. This role can be either volunteer or paid, depending on your preference. There will be an appropriate teacher to child ratio and there will be more than one teacher per classroom. You should be able to conduct age appropriate Christian curriculum that I will provide for you.

We would prefer a commitment for Sept. 2025-May 2026. If you’re interested or have any questions, please reach out to me as soon as possible as we start in September.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Lochala Family with 1 Child

Hello,

We’re a looking for an experienced, dependable nanny to care for our active 2-year-old son. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and values building a long-term, trusting relationship with the family they support.

Our son is curious, affectionate, and full of energy. He loves books, outdoor adventures, and learning new things. We’re looking for a nanny who will engage him through age-appropriate activities, encourage his development, and provide a nurturing, structured environment where he can thrive.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday with the occasional Friday; approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’re happy to offer some flexibility with start and end times for the right person.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing attentive care throughout the day.
* Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, crafts, reading, and outdoor play.
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for him.
* Light household tasks related to our son, including cleaning up after meals, tidying toys and play areas, and occasional children’s laundry.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, communicative, and proactive, with prior toddler experience and excellent references. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. We value open communication, mutual respect, and creating a positive working relationship where our nanny feels like an important part of our family.

If you’re passionate about early childhood development and are looking for a family that will appreciate and respect your experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Thrasher Family with 2 Children

Hi! We’re a family of 5 including our friendly dog (no dog responsibilities here, just being okay with dogs is good – dog lovers are a plus!). We’re looking for someone to help us with our children every other week preferably in our home – my husband works a 7 day on and 7 day off schedule, and we need help during the weeks he is on. So this position is on an every other week cadence, with the first work week being Monday 8/24.

The hours would be Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm; and Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The specific hours are due to our girls being in preschool part-time. Our oldest will go 5 days a week, and our youngest will be trying out 3 days a week.

Some responsibilities will require a drivers license and being comfortable with driving with the kids; we’re comfortable with the use of our car unless you would feel most comfortable in your own. This includes dropping off and picking up at school if one of us is unavailable (we love picking up and dropping off, so we will often do this but there are times where our schedule won’t allow us to), taking the kids to the playground or out somewhere to play, light clean-up of toys, engaging the kids in crafts/imaginative play/baking, and giving them snacks or prepping lunch. I (mom), work from home and will be in the house unless I need to run an errand.

All in all, we're looking for someone who are kids will think is so much fun and feel safe with. If this sounds like you, please reach out!
