My name is Alice, i'm 24 years old,Brazilian. I live in Vancouver WA. I speak fluent english ,spanish and some french. i used to work as an Aupair for the past 2 years and i have plentty of experience with children all ages since i used to babysit for different families on weekends. About my former host families , i lived with 2 different families during my 2 years as Aupair, the last one had 3 year-old twin boys and a 14 year-old boy. My duties with them were: feed the little boys, take them out to play during the day, do art, drive them to school, pick them up, feed them dinner ,do bed time, and of course, give them lots and lots of love and care. I also did their potty training, feeding by themselves and disciplining. About the teenager boy, i would make him meals , drive him to places and organize his room. With my first hostfamily, which a lived for the first year, i had 3 kids: 2 boys and a girl, ages 7,9 and 11. My duties with them were basically feed the kids, drive them, organize their room and toys, and the fun part was to play with them every free time they had, we would play sports, bounce on the trampoline, do art, play lego, ride bicycles and go to bellevue club every time we had a chance =) During my weekends i was free to do anything i wanted, so sometimes i would babysitt other family's kids for a few hours, and this gave me plenty of experience with all kinds of children. I love playing with kids all ages, to see how smart they are, to develop their skills, grow their habilities, it's very important for them. My favorite games with my little boys is pekaboo, catch(with the football),hide and go seek, and i love to try new games everyday so they can learn new thinks..with my older kids i like to play any kind of sports,go swimming, jump around, hide and go seek, frezee tag..and many other games they would teach me! I can cook for the children, help with organizing the toys and mess, do bedtime, drive them anywhere, and help with homework too. For the little kids, i can bottle feed them, change diapers, and give medicine if required. I feel very confident taking care of kids, this is something i do because i enjoy doing it, so it makes way easier to have fun with them. I'm very patiente, flexible, caring, loving and responsible, you can count on me for just about anything you need, and if you like to i could provide a recomendation letter from my last families too.

My most recent was watching a 12 month old girl from June until the end of December which ended because her mother no longer is working. I changed her diapers, fed her, cleaned up after her, ect. I nannied for a family with 5 boys (one of which is moved out now and the youngest is almost 2yrs old) off and on for about 6 years and still talk to them because of the bond I grew with the family. I cooked and prepared meals, cleaned, did laundry, helped them with their homework, took them to the park and swimming, and anything else they needed. I have watched other children and babysat my younger sibblings since I was old enough (for about 9 years). I helped at an NA meeting watching the children while their parents were in the meeting. I babysit 2 boys (6 and 11yrs old) and a little girl (3yrs) occasionally on weekends for date nights. I have also babysat a lot more over the past 6-9years whenever people asked me to watch their children.

over the past 10 years of babysitting, I've taken the kids on bike-rides, to the pool, played indoor/outdoor games, anything that kept them active. I also did light-housecleaning, cooking, and ran occasional errands for the family. I have been babysitting a total of 11 years, for many different families. One of these families includes a boy who suffers from M.S. Through this experience, I have learned a great deal about helping children with disabilities, and how to provide everything they need. I learned so much about kids and all of their similarities and differences; be it their likes/dislikes or their temperament.

I come from a big family. I have four sisters and one brother. Two of my sisters are married and they both have kids . My oldest one has two boys they are 7 and 9. Also she has a daughter who is 3. My other sister has a boy that will be 3 in Novemeber, and she has a girl that is 6 months . I graduated from high school in June 2011. And in high school I took Child Psychology and Advanced Child Psychology. I also took Teaching Academy where I had an internship at an elementary school. I helped out a first grade teacher with reading to the kids and grading papers. Throughout my high school years I babysat my older nephews whenever my sister would ask. When my other sister had her son, I came over everyday to help out. After six months I got on-call nanny job. I watched two kids. Who were 2 and 3 1/2 . After sometime I got a different nanny job where I watched a 4 and 7 year old before and after school. I have been working there for 2 years , but the father recently lost his job and staying with the kids, so they don't need my help anymore. Then I watched a 2 year old girl for a little bit. Now I'm not working. just helping my older sister with her two kids.

I have babysat for 9 years of all ages for a wide variety of families. In high school, I worked in the preschool program for a year with children ages 3-4, I was also in a Careers in Education class where I went to a different school for half a day and took education and family psychology classes gaining more experience about children. My last class of the day was driving to an elementary school to help teach a 1st grade class. As of now, I am currently employed with Kindercare Learning Center and have been with them for over 3 years. I have worked with all ages of children, but have been with 2 year olds the longest. I am a toddler teacher for a group of 14 2 year olds with one other teacher. In our class we teach manners, potty training (a big thing in our class), friendship, using our words, fine and gross motor skills, etc. I have a lot of experience working with children and hope to continue.
