Loyal Nanny Needed – December 2026
📍 Location: Poway, Scripps Ranch, 4S Ranch, Carmel Valley, or Torrey Highlands, San Diego
We are a loving family seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and nurturing nanny for our baby girl, who will be 5 months old in December! We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with infants, is attentive, engaging, and prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and development.
Schedule & Compensation
* Start Date: December 2026
* Monday–Friday, 8 AM–2 PM
* 30 hours/week to start
* $22-27/hour based on experience
Responsibilities
* Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
* Actively engage through play, reading, tummy time, and age-appropriate activities during wake windows
* Manage bottle feedings and assist with introducing solid foods
* Follow established feeding, nap, and daily routines
* Practice excellent hygiene, including handwashing before handling baby, bottles, and food
* Wash bottles, tidy play areas, and keep baby’s spaces clean and organized
* Prioritize infant safety and safe sleep practices
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of infant care experience
* Reliable, trustworthy, patient, nurturing, and communicative
* Infant CPR and First Aid certified
* Knowledge of infant development and safety
* Willing to provide references from previous families
* Comfortable with a parent working from home
* Dog-friendly (we have a French Bulldog!)

We are still working out exact timing and hours, but we are considering both part time and full time options. Ideally, we would need someone to watch her during the week around 9 am - 4 pm or so based on our work schedules.
We do have pets (a cat and a dog - both are very friendly and self-sufficient), but would not expect pet care services.

We need a full time nanny for our daughter, Georgia, and also osscasional care for our neighboors' son, Enzo. Both are currently three months and will be five months when we need care in starting in August (we're flexible on exact dates). We need someone to work around 7-8 hours per day during work hours, likely 8:30am - 4:00pm. We are hoping to pay $25 for when we just need care for our daughter and an increased hourly fee (like $32) when there are two kids.

Roughly, we are thinking we would need someone from 2pm-7pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. During those times we are looking for a lot of interactive play with Lucy, light food prep and clean up, starting bed time routine, taking her outside in the stroller to go places like the park, reading, etc. We have a bigger dog who is very friendly but also energetic. We don’t need much help with her, maybe just letting her outside, filling up her water, etc. Our daughter lucy is very smart and sweet. She loves reading, playing with dolls, chasing after our dog. She is not the best eater but we try to encourage as many snacks as we can. Ideally, I would like a sitter that will read and talk to her a lot because I think that is very important for a young child. A background in education is a plus but not necessary. We look forward to bringing someone into her life that can benefit her development, life and bring love!
