A little bit about us

We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny for our two kids (ages 6 and 10) this summer, from June 22 through mid-August. This is a temporary, weekday role with a schedule that shifts week to week, so it is a great fit if you want flexible summer work or are building professional childcare experience.

The schedule

Weekdays only, no weekends.
Two kinds of days: full days from 7:30am to 6pm, and camp days that are split shifts (roughly 7:00 to 9:30am for drop-off, then about 2:30 to 6:00pm for pickup and the afternoon).
A few weeks off during the summer while we travel. In the weeks we are in town, hours generally land between about 20 and 40. We share the full calendar with you up front so there are no surprises.

What you would do

Keep our two safe, engaged, and active through the day.
Drive them to and from camps, lessons, and activities.
Prepare simple meals and snacks.
Our older one is horse-crazy and both love their camps, so a playful, active person is ideal.

What we are looking for

A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle insured for work use (you will be driving our kids).
Confident and comfortable around water (pool time).
Prior childcare experience and references we can check.
CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to get certified.
Happy to complete a background check.

Pay: $28 to $30 per hour, based on experience.
