The ideal housekeeper nanny/PA will have experience in helping run a house, be proactive and an eye for detail. This is a busy professional family with 9 year old girl.
You will be supporting the family in looking after the home, assisting with the school run, helping with homework, cooking meals, house cleaning, chores, tidying, laundry, and essentially being a very much valued member of the family. Dad runs his own business and you will be required to travel with the family on holidays. There may be weekend work required when dad is away so sole charge experience and ability to travel is essential.
Housekeeper Duties
Family laundry and ironing. Including organizing closets and rotating clothing and shoes for sizing and condition.
Deep/general cleaning and tidying of the entire house.
Running errands such as groceries, returning parcels, buying small birthday presents and cards, collecting dry cleaning etc.
Liaising with contractors and external service providers for the maintenance of the property.
Responsibly utilising the nanny kitty for spending and allowances.
Cooking home-cooked meals for the family that are healthy and nutritious.
All aspects of running a tidy and clean house including some outside areas/terraces.
Driving the family car on errands and school runs.
PA Duties
Assisting dad in his business
Telephone call handling
If you love the specifics, get serious joy when you cross things off your list each day and thrive on a good handover (I mean who doesn't love the opportunity to brag about their daily achievements), then this housekeeper nanny/ PA role in Bridport is perfect for you.
During term-time the role is very much house-keeping PA focused but during the school holidays more help may be required with daughter and that is where your nanny experience takes over.
