A little bit about us

Work-from-home mom with stay-at-home dad. We try to raise our kids following Montessori-principles & limit screen-time as much as possible. We encourage independence & self-reliance, trying to teach our kids to help themselves as much as they can, involving them in many practical & daily life activities. We encourage our kids to be outside often, playing in the dirt & on their swing set. We have a small homestead with chickens, rabbits, & 3 playful dogs.

Looking for a nanny to care for our toddlers (1 & 2 yo) during the day a few days/week. Must be playful & down to earth. Loves pretend play! Willing to make a mess & get dirty with the kids outside. Can support elimination communication potty training. Some light housekeeping needed as well (kids toys/rooms, kids laundry, meal prep, light kitchen clean-up).

Days & Times are flexible. Looking for 2-3 days/week for 15-20 hours total.

Responsibilities

* Keeping toddlers on schedule (IE snack time, lunch, Nap)
* Preparing lunch and snacks
* Light housekeeping (picking up playroom, toddler dishes, sweeping)
* Changing diapers
* Teaching children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other
* Ensuring children’s safety during indoor and outdoor activities (we have an outdoor play set).
