Starting March 16, 2026. Need 12 hrs per week for 8 weeks, then 20hrs per week after that. Guaranteed hours/pay with PTO. Hoping for 6+ months commitment. Flexible on schedule/time M-Th; we are off Fridays. No expectations outside childcare, but please be okay with cats/dogs :) we have 2 of each, all are friendly and well trained. A bit about us: Aerospace engineers, always reading, motorcycling, and fond of cultural activities (ie opera/art exhibits). Family and community are dear to us and we love making new friends - mostly through volunteering or after Mass chats. We never let our kiddo cry it out, and will be raising her away from screens as much as possible. She is a very happy baby, surpassing almost all milestones a month early! About our son: Our son is sweet, goofy, sensitive and very active. He loves being outside in all weather (must love wandering around, playgrounds, and stroller walks), balls, blocks, trucks, books, and vacuuming (yes, vacuuming).
Our son has several food allergies. Must be comfortable administering EpiPen or other allergy medication and minimizing exposure/contact to known allergens.
About our space: We have multiple indoor play areas, a large backyard that opens up to a park/playground, and close access to the Highline Canal trail plus several very close libraries.
About us: Both parents mostly work from home. While we plan to engage with our baby throughout the day and will try to eat lunch with him, we will also be in separate workspaces and out of your hair! We have one dog - must be comfortable around pets.
About you/the position: We are looking for someone to become a member of our family with a year long commitment (or more!). CPR certification, EpiPen administration, up to date vaccines, understanding of secure attachments, and ability to work through intentional transitions are a must! Comfort with coordinating with mom for breastfeeding and contact napping/baby snuggles are also required. We are seeking 20-24 hours of care per week on M, T, Th between 8 am - 5 pm with guaranteed hours, PTO, and holidays. We have a 3 year old daughter named Scottie and a 13 month old boy named Barrett and a baby boy on the way (due in September)! My husband coaches for the Denver Broncos and I work full time from home as a Sales Director for an affiliate marketing agency!
