A loving family is seeking a kind and experienced nanny to care for two children: a 10 year-old daughter and an 8-year-old on the autism spectrum. I am a single mom hoping to find a caregiver who can become a valued part of the family.
About the 10 year-old: This curious and energetic girl loves music, make-up, skating, hover board, drawing and meeting new friends. She may start out shy and will talk your ear off once she gets to know you.
About the 8 year-old: The youngest is a sweet and creative boy who is autistic. He thrives with routine and predictability. He has a strong interest in crafts, building blocks, legos, sensory toys. Technology needs monitored and catches his attention.
The family is looking for a nanny who:
Has previous experience working with children, including those with autism or other special needs.
Is patient, understanding, and adaptable to individual needs and preferences.
Can create a fun and engaging environment, incorporating age-appropriate activities and therapies into daily routines.
Understands the importance of sensory-friendly environments and can provide appropriate support during over-stimulation or meltdowns.

We have the sweetest baby in the world! She's turning 1 on June 21, 2024. Her name is Wilma :)
Unfortunately, she does keep us up at night, and my wife really could use a 1 hour break during the week (M-F). Wilma is at the crawling stage and she will be walking soon. Honestly, we just need someone to sit with her, play with her, and give her attention so my wife can catch a nap. (Babies are exhausting lol).
We need someone to watch Wilma from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. (these hours are adjustable) on Monday - Friday. It would be at our house. You could watch Wilma either in her room or the living room. Me and my wife would both be at the house (I work from home). We can answer any questions.

In need of someone that has a flexible schedule because our hours will change a lot through the week. Every Thursday is our date night starting at 5:30pm. Our current nanny is moving in July and will be gone for a few months, possibly longer. Reliable transportation is a must. Willing to take the kids to the park is also helpful so I can work from home. Looking for someone fun, outgoing, honest and reliable. My oldest boys will start school so I may need help with drop off/pick up some days as well depending on my job when the time comes.
