Long-Term Nanny Needed for Infant — Ashburn, VA
We are looking for a warm, dependable, and attentive nanny to care for our baby boy in our home. We are hoping to find someone interested in a long-term position and becoming a trusted part of our family's routine.
Both parents have hybrid work schedules, so one parent will be home at all times. We are looking for approximately 31–35 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday, with a consistent core schedule and some flexibility as needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing attentive, loving care for our baby
* Preparing bottles and age-appropriate meals as he begins eating solids
* Following his nap routine and supporting age-appropriate development through play, reading, and outdoor walks
* Keeping his play areas, bottles, and baby-related items tidy
Our ideal candidate:
* Has previous infant-care experience and excellent references
* Is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
* Is comfortable around pets (we have a friendly, medium-sized dog)
* Is dependable, communicative, and interested in a long-term position
* Has reliable transportation
We are targeting $19–$20 per hour, depending on experience, and are happy to discuss the details with the right candidate. We intend to establish a clear written agreement covering the schedule, guaranteed hours, paid time off, and holidays.

My husband works 24 hours and I work rotating between morning and mid-morning/afternoon starts to my shift. Each month there are inevitably 4-6 mornings where we need help, either because I will have gotten off a late shift and need to sleep in or I have to go into work and he isn't back from his shift yet. Unfortunately, these days do not fall on the same days each week or month, but we know our schedules and all of our needs a month+ in advance. We could also offer more hours if that would make it more worth your while to come on with us. We are looking for someone who is responsisble with experience and who will give their full attention to our daughter while they are here.
