The setup we have in mind:
- Full-time, Mon-Fri, roughly 8am-4pm but flexible
- Babies close in age, so naps and feeding schedules line up
- Happy to host at our home, and flexible if you'd rather alternate homes or host yourselves
- Wage depends on if doing a share or solo
Both of us work in software and work from home, and we each have a dedicated workspace, so the nanny runs the day with parents nearby but not in the way.
Operationally, each family would be an employer, and we'd use a payroll service. Everything will be documented before day one: guaranteed hours, paid time off after an initial period, sick-day rules, and exit clauses for either family. We'd like a short call, then a meetup with the kids, before anyone commits.
We follow a loose routine around naps and feeds, incorporating plenty of tummy time, books, and outdoor walks, and no screens at this age. Group chat for day-to-day updates plus a monthly check-in.

We are moving to the Nashville area and looking for part time help. My son is very active. He loves to play fight, play sports, and "swim." He can NOT swim no matter what he says lol so someone who knows and maybe can help him learn would be great. I would love to find a male babysitter or someone who can keep up with him. It is me and my sister and our schedules will be different every week. We're looking for about 3 days a week with a set pay of $300. We will occasionally want a weekend or two a month and will of course pay hourly for those. My husband and I are located in North West Nashville (in between Germantown and the Nations) and we are currently browsing for Nannies for our newborn. We are currently pregnant with our first child (due in November 2024), and would need help beginning end of Feb/early Mar 2025. My husband and I both work from home and are looking for someone to help us part-time (about 15 hours per week) while we work. Ideally we’d like three 5 hour days per week. Mondays and Wednesdays are a must but we can be flexible for the third day!
