A little bit about us

We are a Center Moriches family who needs a part-time nanny for our 4 and 7-year-old daughters on school days (following school calendar). Both are kind, well-behaved kids. We need care from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in our home. Our 7-year-old goes to elementary school in East Moriches so only 30 minutes or so out of the 3 hour day will involve caring for both kids. Must be very reliable, love kids, and have a clean driving record for potential drop-off and pickup at pre-k. We do not have pets and do not expect housekeeping to be done. We would like the caregiver to instead focus on spending time with and structuring activities for the kids. Looking for someone to start ASAP - early Sept. Pay is $27/hour plus a $500 bonus at the end of the school year. Ideal candidate will have prior experience and/or will have successfully raised their own children.

Daily responsibilities would include light meal prep, arts and crafts activities, trips to the park/local library, etc. The 6 year old will need to be picked up daily from the bus stop at 4pm, which is a short 2 min walk from our home. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and loves kids. Offering $25/hour.
