A little bit about us

Hi there! We are Matt and Rachael (parents) and Alayna (7) and Noah (2). We are originally from Houston, TX but have lived in SRB since May 2022.
We had a wonderful nanny that unfortunately for us just left to pursue a full time teaching career.
We are looking for someone who can take care of Noah 5 days a week. Alayna goes to school during the day. We both work in the restaurant industry so sometimes we do have a random weekday off where we wouldn’t need care, but schedules would be talked about in advance.
Most of the time we have lunch already prepared but if not we have tons of easy options for Noah that you can quickly make.
We do have a cat, Samlich, but he mostly just sticks to himself although he does love to sniff bags when people walk in.

This is a very flexible position that requires you to think on your feet and be self motivated. You will learn the inner workings of our medical practice while also watching kids after school and on closure days. Occasional weekend availability to cover date nights requested but not required. We have a 6 month baby boy that loves to explore and a 4.5 year old toddler that is generally very sweet but occasionally tests the waters. Typical child care hours are Mon/Weds/Fri afternoons. Potential to reduce to 2 afternoons of child care with more admin tasks as skills grow. This is very much an as things come up position meaning much of your time will be quiet time in which you can busy yourself, study, watch tv etc but then you may be asked to work on a task or project with some urgency. A vehicle is needed for pick up drop off and occasional errands with mileage reimbursed.
