Need a caregiver for 2 fairly independent kids that need to be kept busy and off screens. Mainly will need to provide care to the 5 year old boy who will need extra attention to be kept busy during the summer. The schedule will likely be a few days during the hours of 8:30 - 5 PM but will vary in number of days and hours based on parents' schedule. May ask for some evening and/or weekend coverage for date nights.

The child also has a seizure disorder where seizures can be triggered randomly, so you will need to be versed and comfortable with giving a daily medication on time twice day as well as comfortable administering emergency meds in the vent of an emergency. Seizures are rare and do not occur often but can occur randomly at any time. Someone with knowledge or experience with seizures would be a plus.

We have two amazing twin boys call mom and my wife needs regular help with them during the week, and sometimes on the weekend it would be nice if someone can stay with the kids well my wife and I get a little bit of time alone. We would love to have someone who has the energy to keep up with toddler boys. With the help needed during the week it’s a combination of time with the kids, helping to put them to sleep or afternoon naps, and some light work around the house, like filling/emptying the dishwasher, rounds of laundry call mom vacuuming, and mopping. We keep our house very clean, so maintenance is light but regular work. We haven’t done this before, so the hours I put in or just an estimate, but if it works out well, we could potentially do full-time. Otherwise, my sister-in-law has a two year old as well, so there’s a potential for nanny sharing opportunity – she lives only 2 miles from our house.

They need interaction and help reinforcing rules at home (like picking up toys before starting another activity, asking before taking things, etc), and emotional regulation (we're big on taking a deep breath and calming down before we solve a problem). My 1 year old points and is learning sign language. My 3 year old speaks fluent English and some Chinese. She loves learning to read and is very clever.
We do have 2 small dogs at home. No care needed for them.
We speak English and Cantonese at home, so bonus (but not required) if you can speak Cantonese.
