A little bit about us

We are a loving family in downtown Fredericksburg looking for a caring, reliable nanny for our 10-month-old daughter. She is a happy, curious little explorer who loves crawling, discovering new things, reading books, playing, and spending time outdoors. We’d love someone who enjoys engaging with infants through play, helping them reach developmental milestones, taking walks around downtown, and visiting nearby parks. We are a screen-free household (mostly :) ) and value interactive, hands-on care.

The position is Monday through Thursday, with full days Monday through Wednesday (approximately 7:30 AM– 6 PM) and a half day on Thursday (approximately 7:30 AM–12:00 PM). We also have a friendly, well-behaved dog in the home.

Infant childcare experience is preferred. We participate in the Military Child Care in Your Home program, so our nanny will need to meet program requirements: legal residency, CPR certification and completing additional training (we’re happy to discuss those details during the interview process).

We’re looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our family and provide a fun, nurturing, and safe environment for our daughter to learn and grow.

As our daughter begins eating solids, we’d love someone who is comfortable preparing simple, healthy, age-appropriate foods for her.
