Starting in August 2024. We will need someone to help us part-time with picking the kids up from school and daycare, transporting them home and starting on dinner/ homework. Our 6 year old will be in 1st grade at Buckhorn Elementary and our 3yo and 1yo will be in daycare (currently Childcare of Brandon but that may change). Hours would be 2:30PM (school pickup) until 6:30PM Mon-Fri. Dad works from home 50% of the time and travels 50% of the time. Mom is in the medical field and has very little flexibility with work hours/ time off.
Our kids are sweet, funny, creative and for the most part well-behaved. They have been in daycare and with babysitters their whole life, so they are great with getting to know new caretakers and going with the flow.
Safe driving and seatbelt/ car seat safety are huge priorities for us. We could work out the details of which car will be driven, mileage etc.

Hi, I am a single mom in need of a babysitter for 1 hour per day. My son is 11 years old and his name is Aaron.
Pick up my son (11 years old) from the school bus stop at the Valrico Station Apartments and walk with him home (within the apartment complex). Stay with him until completing 1 hour. Make sure he eats some snacks. I do not want him to walk by himself from the school bus stop home. I want to make sure he eats some snacks (provided by me). As soon as he gets in the house he turns on the TV so it is fine if you just sit down and are on your phone or if it is a student you work on your homework. Pick up time at the bus stop is around 2.10/2.20

We are a low tech household, so we expect hands-on activities to keep them engaged. We need someone 2-3 days per week (hours are currently flexible but potentially MWF 8:00-3:00), with perhaps a date night every couple of weeks (or even monthly). We are planning to homeschool so a person with ECE background who is familiar with Charlotte Mason curriculums is a bonus. We expect to be involved in homeschool coops, so we may need drop-off and pickup from appropriate activities. Our children have severe food allergies, so an understanding of and diligence to protecting them is of utmost importance to us. This may include refraining from bringing certain foods in the home.
