Our daughter is a happy, curious toddler who loves books, trips to the library, playing and dancing. We're looking for someone warm, reliable, and experienced with toddlers. A calm, stable presence, ready to play but also content to sit and simply be present with her.
Dad works from home but is often out during the day. You'll be fully in charge when he's away. No housekeeping beyond tidying up after Josie. If you're open to some batch-cooking of Josie's meals each week, that's a plus! CPR/First Aid training is a bonus. Hours and days may increase depending on parent availability. Responsibilities include school pickup at 3:10 PM, driving her home or to activities in the Valley, preparing after-school snacks and a light dinner, keeping her engaged with fun, age-appropriate play and outings, and light kid-related tasks like her laundry and tidying her room and play areas.
You'll need a safe, reliable vehicle with room for a booster seat, a valid CA driver's license, a clean driving record, great references, and the ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
You'll have a consistent weekly schedule, just one child to care for, and a dad who values and respects your time. I work from home, so I'm nearby if needed, but you'll be fully in charge during your hours. I'm looking for someone long-term who is punctual, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys kids.
