A loving family is seeking a kind and experienced nanny to care for two children: a 10 year-old daughter and an 8-year-old on the autism spectrum. I am a single mom hoping to find a caregiver who can become a valued part of the family.
About the 10 year-old: This curious and energetic girl loves music, make-up, skating, hover board, drawing and meeting new friends. She may start out shy and will talk your ear off once she gets to know you.
About the 8 year-old: The youngest is a sweet and creative boy who is autistic. He thrives with routine and predictability. He has a strong interest in crafts, building blocks, legos, sensory toys. Technology needs monitored and catches his attention.
The family is looking for a nanny who:
Has previous experience working with children, including those with autism or other special needs.
Is patient, understanding, and adaptable to individual needs and preferences.
Can create a fun and engaging environment, incorporating age-appropriate activities and therapies into daily routines.
Understands the importance of sensory-friendly environments and can provide appropriate support during over-stimulation or meltdowns.

2 girls 10 and 13, need mornings approx. 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. get them to bus stop although this takes approx. 2 hours you would be paid for travel time as well at a minimum of 3 hours , after that, you have 7 hours till pickup from bus stop, your choice of how to spend those hours come back early and do housekeeping or grocery shopping or meal prep, or not , but 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. must be back at bus stop, then homework, dinner, so the job can be 6 hours or up to 10 hours a day , your choice. This job is Monday thru Friday . no weekends. I would consider live in, or even some overnights . home does have a maids quarters , and seperate guest house .
