FULL TIME LIVE OUT or MULTIPLE PART TIME CAREGIVERS DUE TO ROTATING SHIFTS. Single mom looking for someone w/flexibility to help care for my school aged children. As a first responder & solo parent, before/after care programs do not work w/my complex schedule. I currently have an au pair, but this childcare no longer works w/my pre-teen girls. Favor hiring 1 person full-time live out nanny w/salary & amenities over paying/hr (negotiable). If part time, payment/hr will depend on shift working. I work 3 different shifts that rotate: days 7am-3pm, nights 3-11pm, then midnights 11pm-7am. W/school starting, the day shift will only be a few hrs. The nights are the longest working hrs but I often swap this shift to midnights &/or the girls have extracurricular activities. Additionally, the girls are in bed by 8-9pm, so the rest of the shift is down time. The midnights are the easiest - kids asleep and caregiver can sleep too! Just need someone at house for safety reasons; have spare bedroom to accommodate. Rotating schedule means weekends possible; yet often filled w/activities, sleepovers, family visits. I caveat that w/I am often able to take vacation on most holidays or school breaks, plus I tend to swap my night shifts w/midnights, so I can spend more quality time w/my daughters. I would request help w/light housekeeping & cooking (ref to children). Must be a good driver. Also reliable… I cannot be late or miss a shift last minute since my employ requires personal to cover 24/7, 365 days/yr. I’m flexible w/regards to needing off if proper notice is given. If full time nanny, 14 days of vacation avail. I can also try to swap my shifts if I need to help employee attend appointments, college classes, etc… I believe in mutual support; cooperation is key! Looking for someone or more to become extended family members for my amazing girls!
