My baby is breastfed, so experience caring for breastfed infants is preferred. During wake windows, I would like the caregiver to engage in healthy developmental activities such as tummy time, reading, talking, singing, and other age-appropriate interactions.
My baby's ideal day follows a consistent routine of eating, sleeping, and engaging in age-appropriate activities during wake windows. I would like the caregiver to support healthy sleep habits, feedings, diaper changes, and developmental activities that encourage growth and bonding. Maintaining a predictable schedule is important.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Amiri Family with 1 Child
Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. I have a one year old that is chillness itself (although a total climbing savant) and a three-almost-four year old that is all energy and heart. Looking for a local nanny and family that would welcome all that energy into their home, and willing to host on days I have the kids.
Responsibilities would include just general childcare, maybe some light tidying up after the kids (but not cleaning), lunch, snacks, park, etc. MAYBE some dinner prep. Once my oldest starts preschool, we can discuss picking him up from there.
Would prefer someone with a car, but not necessary.
No pets in the house, but my mom lives upstairs with her dog who we borrow from time to time.
