A little bit about us

We are seeking a loving, nurturing, and compassionate long-term babysitter to become part of our family’s village.

The primary role will be caring for our energetic and sweet 3-year-old son, with occasional care for his 7-year-old brother when school is not in session. It is very important to us that our children are in kind, patient, and caring hands with someone who genuinely enjoys working with children.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children
• Is reliable, trustworthy, and dependable
• Has a flexible schedule
• Is seeking part-time work a few days per month or looking to supplement an existing schedule
• Is comfortable with light household tasks, including children’s laundry, dishes, and simple meal preparation
• Is a non-smoker with reliable transportation
• Holds CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Can provide 2–3 references and is willing to undergo a background check

Typical hours may include weekday mornings/afternoons (approximately 9:00 AM–1:00 PM), occasional date nights, and weekend coverage as needed.

We are professional parents who work locally and sometimes from home. We value open communication, reliability, and creating a positive, respectful relationship with our caregiver.

We hope to find someone interested in growing with our family over the years as our children’s needs evolve.

West Indian or South Asian cultural familiarity is a plus, as we value those traditions and connections within our family.
