A little bit about us
We are a family of four who have lived in Buffalo for a couple of years. We have one old dog who appreciates a pet but generally stays out of the way. We have a fantastic nanny who has been with us since the kids were about 7 months old. She works for us M-W and we’d love to find someone who’s interested in Th-F in our home to continue and compliment our routines.
Primary Responsibility: Caring for our twin boys, ensuring their safety, happiness, and developmental needs are met.
Daily Activities: Engaging with the kids through play crafts and adventures, outdoor time, and nurturing activities that align with the principles of gentle parenting, Montessori, and child-led discovery.
Meal Times: Preparing and feeding breakfast, lunch and snacks
Naptime: We aim for a rest/quiet time around 2pm. Sometimes they nap but not always and that’s fine.
Household: We’re generally screen free. The kids love music and dancing. They go to a pre school program for a few hours every Monday and they’re signed up for storytime programs at our local library.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Prior experience with multiples is great, a strong interest in early childhood development. Familiarity with gentle parenting, Montessori, and child-led discovery is a plus. Ability and eagerness to collaborate with our M-W nanny a must.
Personality: Caring, gentle, and respectful. Flexible and understanding, willing to meet our kids where they are rather than imposing a rigid structure.
Reliability: Someone who is dependable, communicative and capable of handling the nuances of twin care
