Live-In Full-Time Nanny Job: The Kez Family with 1 Child
We are a warm, faith-centered, single-parent household in Bowie, Maryland, looking for a career nanny, not a part-time or student position. This is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in-home, minimum 30 hours per week, with coverage extended to 8:00 PM roughly twice a month on a Tuesday or Thursday (or 3PM - 8PM). Start is immediate, and we are looking for a minimum 6-month commitment with real openness to long term.
I work from home, so I am present but working and not available to supervise directly. My son is 22 months old, sweet, shy, and busy, and consistency and structure matter enormously in his day. He has some food sensitivities, so a caregiver who follows instructions precisely and never improvises with meals or snacks is essential.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience and references from families you stayed with at least a year. Requirements include COVID-19 vaccination, 3 professional references, CPR certification, reliable transportation, comfort with pets, and willingness to complete a background check on our dime. You will lead a weekly learning activity plan, write a daily progress report at the end of each shift, and keep your phone away except for photo and safety updates to me.
Your days will include meals, naps, hands-on educational and sensory play, a tidy nursery and play space, and proactive communication throughout the day.
We are looking for someone patient, structured, and genuinely joyful with toddlers, who shows up on time, plans real activities instead of winging the day, and gets just as excited about meeting milestones as we do :-)

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Prentice Family with 2 Children
We want a nurturing nanny for our twins. The start date is flexible but ideally begins August 17th. This position begins part-time, 2 to 3 weekdays during the day. The right candidate has experience with multiple children and owns a car for outings and activities. We're first time parents, having a boy in December. Looking for a nanny that can care for him while I work from home and go to the gym, husband works in the office. Monday to Friday. Preferably speaks French.
We would like minimal screen time. Lots of educational interactive play.
We do have a dog but there is no expectation to care for him. No expectation to clean or do any housework except in relation to the baby and yourself. Ie. Cleaning up after a spill or putting things back where you found them after eating etc.
We are an easy-going family but will have strict expectations when it comes time to requests. Ie our method for potty training, the fact we are planning to breast feed for an extended period, nutrition etc.
