A little bit about us

Hi! My name is Jessica and my son’s name is Nico! He just turned 1 on sept. 1st. He’s a very sweet boy and I love that majority of the time I get to work from home and raise him. However I work for a company that does wedding planning, florals and we also sell wedding dresses. Sometimes I need to be in the boutique in person or working onsite at a wedding! My husband gets home on weekdays around 4:30-5:00pm and is home most weekends. I would need care sporadically during the day monday-friday. It will never be the same schedule and it would be anywhere from 3 hours- 6 hours in a day. We take 2 hour appointments slots from 10am-4pm so depending on when appointments are made I will know the weeks schedule usually every Monday.
I would need you to do some light cooking just to prepare Nico’s lunches. Most of the time I will have things prepped, but occasionally things will need to be reheated or possibly something simple like steaming some veggies. We will be moving shortly over to lagrangeville area as well, same care will be needed so I’m looking for someone that can start at our home here in Poughkeepsie and then continue the care wherever we wind up once we move (things are still up in the air!)
Nico is a very happy, easy going kid who is learning now skills every day! He is just learning to walk (and loves to do so) he LOVES the outdoors so that is a MUST while the weather is nice!
