A little bit about us

A friendly family in Yorktown Heights is seeking a long term, live out, part time Nanny for their 1 year old daughter. This is a great opportunity for a professional caregiver who loves music and dancing, reading books and providing playful and developmentally appropriate experiences!

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience, be at least 21 years old, non-smoking, CPR/First Aid certified, and vaccinated for Covid, Flu, and Tdap.

Responsibilities will mainly focus on caring for the baby: Managing the daily schedule and routine
Planning and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities
Getting outside
Preparing/washing/sanitizing bottles
Preparing meals and snacks as needed
Baby laundry
Keeping the nursery and common spaces neat, tidy and organized (including tidying toys, putting away clothes and changing bedding, emptying diaper bin)

The family is looking for someone who is calm, friendly, caring, patient and proactive. Candidates that are happy, upbeat people by nature and bring a positive energy will do well in this role.
