A little bit about us

Hello! My husband and I are looking for a nanny for our 2 1/2 year old daughter, Eleanor, as soon as possible. We are seeking a nanny who understands how important these formative years are for our daughter as she learns to explore the world, communicate, right from wrong, etc. and can prepare her for pre-k and kindergarten. The schedule is flexible, but we are thinking Monday - Thursday mornings (4 hours per day). Responsibilities will include:
Creating a safe and stimulating environment,
Dressing Eleanor, as needed,
Changing diapers and potty-training,
Assembling/heating food and coaching her to feed herself,
Arranging and driving to playdates and outings (potentially),
Playing indoors and outdoors,
Facilitating educational activities and crafts,
Cleaning up after activities and crafts,
Reading to the her,
Organizing bedrooms/toys,
Administering medicine, if necessary,
Maintaining logs

Ideal Candidate
Dependable, proactive, and positive. You can balance being an engaging mentor to two boys while maintaining clear boundaries around homework and safety. Strong communication and ability to work independently are essential.
Requirements
* Ideally lives in or near Bethesda, MD or nearby.
* Committed to M–F, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
* Experienced with childcare and family/child laundry.
* Clean driving record, valid US license, and a safe, reliable vehicle.
* Pass background checks and provide excellent childcare references.
