Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. I currently work in the hospital setting and he is a firefighter so we would need someone that could work according to his work schedule. His schedule fluxgates each week, but we do know his schedule in advanced. We have a 6 year old who is doing e-learning until April 19th in which then he would need to be dropped off at school/picked up from school, we have an 8 month old infant who isn't in daycare yet, and I am currently pregnant. So the 6 year will need help with e-learning, homework, and snacks. Light housework as far as cleaning up after the baby and 6 year old is needed. CPR, First Aid Certified, and a clean driving record/own car is also a requirement. Occasionally, we may need a babysitter for date nights.
