A little bit about us

Hello! I’m looking for a babysitter to look after my 6-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son for a few hours in the afternoon after school. We’re an Anglo-Italian family — I’m Italian and my husband is British — and we relocated to LA from London in January 2025. Both my husband and I are art conservators; I work at the Getty, and he runs his own business in the UK. As he frequently travels for work, I need someone to help during the afternoons when he’s away.

Leonella finishes school around 2:30 p.m., so I’m looking for someone available from then until about 5:30 p.m., when I return from work. Arturo needs to be picked up before 5 p.m., and both schools are within walking distance from our home. Leonella may need a bit of help with homework and some company in the afternoon — you can walk together to pick up Arturo around 4:30.

I’m usually home by 5:30. Both kids are energetic, sociable, and full of charm — they love playing, crafting, and reading. I’m looking for someone kind, responsible, and creative who would enjoy spending this time with them!
