A little bit about us

(NOT CURRENTLY SEEKING NANNY) We have four kids age 8 months, 20 months, 3 years, and 4 years. (girl-boy-girl-boy). We are looking for live-out but live-in is also an option as we have a guest cottage.

We, Emily and Michael, both work from home and are very involved in looking after the kids, cooking, taking them to play, changing diapers, etc. Our oldest two are in preschool M, W, and F. You can play with the kids at home, take them to a park or the beach, on an e-bike ride, or hang out with the neighbors next door (2 little girls whom we see everyday who have their own horses, dogs, and chickens).

We go to the beach a lot, have a pool, and the kids' grandparents live nearby. The kids spend a lot of time outdoors - our first two learned to swim and stopped riding in the stroller at age 1 and 2. We're not helicopter parents, but give kids plenty of freedom to run around, climb trees, visit the next-door neighbors, etc. Our kids have no allergies or special conditions. They are bright, athletic, confident, and polite. We treat them like regular little people and teach them to be respectful in return. We understand that young children can be difficult but we are always around to help!

We keep a regular 9-5 work schedule on weekdays, so this is when we need the most help (8-5 is our ideal schedule, with some flexibility). We almost never need help at night or on weekends, and often will let our nanny go early if we don't have a lot of work (often on Friday).

We have two fun dogs, Juno and Samson, three friendly cats, plus chickens and ducks (tons of fresh eggs!).

We do take a couple family trips a year so having help along for the journey is always nice, but travel is not required.

-Household Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, living, and play areas used during the day. Clean dishes as needed, including children’s dishes and reasonable family dishes accumulated during the day. Wipe counters, reset kitchen surfaces, and leave shared areas tidy at the end of shift. Tidy toys and reset play areas daily. Laundry not required.

This job is in Jupiter in the Abacoa neighborhood. We have three children ages 5, 3, and 1. In the morning my 5 year old is in school so it is just the girls. Responsibilities will be to play with the girls, feed them snack/lunch, and tidy the house after you guys finish playing; I may add walking the girls to school to pickup their brother on some days but unsure yet. The role will be very flexible and will vary depending on the hours that I pick up each week. I plan to know my schedule 1-2 weeks out and find sitters for the shifts I pick up as they can fit into their schedule. Depending on experience pay will be between $18-22/hour.
