The setup we have in mind:
- Full-time, Mon-Fri, roughly 8am-4pm but flexible
- Babies close in age, so naps and feeding schedules line up
- Happy to host at our home, and flexible if you'd rather alternate homes or host yourselves
- Wage depends on if doing a share or solo
Both of us work in software and work from home, and we each have a dedicated workspace, so the nanny runs the day with parents nearby but not in the way.
Operationally, each family would be an employer, and we'd use a payroll service. Everything will be documented before day one: guaranteed hours, paid time off after an initial period, sick-day rules, and exit clauses for either family. We'd like a short call, then a meetup with the kids, before anyone commits.
We follow a loose routine around naps and feeds, incorporating plenty of tummy time, books, and outdoor walks, and no screens at this age. Group chat for day-to-day updates plus a monthly check-in.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Cunningham Family with 1 Child
Our baby girl is due 11/29 and we have a little dog! My work is taking me back to the office 2-3 days a week and my husband is a road musician for a country artist who generally is home for 2-3 days a week. We are looking for care 2-3 days a week, depending on the week, in our home for our first baby girl and our dog to be let out into our backyard at least once during the day. We want to find someone who is safe, caring, and who we can rely on for the days where either Mom has to go to the office and/or has meetings during the day while working from home. We are still working out what that schedule may look like generally. We are kind, open-minded people who are musicians by trade and just want to keep our little girl safe and cared for on the days when Dad is on the road and mom is flying solo :) We are thinking that help may be needed primarily on Thursdays and Fridays as Adam is typically home on most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. A little about us - I'm a lawyer at the Tennessee Justice Center where I provide free legal services to pregnant and postpartum patients and families with children at a local clinic. My husband, Matt, is a musician and also helps run a music nonprofit that brings music instruction to under-resourced youth. We also have a 2.5 year old daughter, Juniper, but she's in daycare so you'd just be taking care of Jasper during the day.
