Part-Time Nanny Job: The Withrow Family with 2 Children

We're a family in the West Knoxville/Farragut area looking for a warm, experienced caregiver for weekend care during the day (Saturdays and/or Sundays, between 5 - 10 hours a week).

We have two kids who keep us on our toes in very different ways: our 1-year-old is curious, mobile (walking any day now), and just starting to explore everything (so someone with real hands-on infant/toddler experience is a must), and our 7-year-old is more independent. She loves TV, reading, video games, and is fairly independent. There may be ocassional local travel involved using our car.

We're looking for someone patient, attentive, and comfortable managing two very different age groups at once. Experience with toddlers, specifically, is a big plus.

Since this is new for our family, we'd love to start with a meet and greet and/or shorter trial visit before moving to full weekend hours, so everyone can get comfortable at their own pace. We're happy to share more about our routines, the kids' personalities, and what a typical weekend looks like once we connect.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Wagner Family with 1 Child

We’re looking for a nanny to care for our 14-month-old toddler boy, Warren, starting August 18th. I go into the office two days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays), and our current nanny is no longer available for Tuesdays, so we need someone to watch him from 8 AM to 5 PM on Tuesday each week.

This would be a recurring weekly position. If our current nanny also becomes unavailable on Mondays, or takes time off, then we would need help on that day as well. If you have Mondays as open availability, that is a plus, but not mandatory as Tuesdays are what we really need right now.

A few things to know:
* We’re located in West Knoxville (zip code 37923).
* My husband works from home and will be at the house during the day.
* We have three friendly cats (no pet care required).
* We relocated to Tennessee from Florida last year and don’t have local family or a support system, so finding the right fit means a lot to us

If you're experienced with toddlers, reliable, and have a kind heart, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you! 💙

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Levey Family with 1 Child

Hello!

My wife and I are expecting our first baby boy this November! We are looking for someone who will be able to work 3/4 days per week, from 8:00 to 5:00.

We also have two dogs as well named Amstel and Scout. Both of which love are very sweet and have a ton of energy. Luckly, we have a back yard so they can run around to burn off steam.

It is important for us that only Spanish is spoken at home, as we want our child to be able to speak Spanish when we visit family in Peru.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Engelhardt Family with 6 Children

We are a family with 6 children ages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8. I (mom) homeschool our three school age children. Our home runs on a schedule and yet somehow is always crazy. Madeline, our 2 year old, was adopted out of foster care, and has severe intellectual and physical disabilities. She requires constant care and monitoring. Ellie, our baby, was also adopted, and has mild developmental and physical delays. Both girls are in therapies that are 30-45 minutes each. I am hoping to hire someone who can assist me day to day as a mother’s helper for the children, care for our older kids when I take the youngest 2 children to therapy, and play with Madeline when I need to do school work with the older children. Time frame we most need is Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-12pm, and I’d like to also have someone on Mondays and/or Wednesdays. Special needs experience is preferred, but I’m happy to provide on the job training. We can pay $12-15 an hour. Our summer nanny does homework for college classes when the babies are napping, and I’m totally open to that moving forward.
