I work as a Firefighter/EMT in a relatively rural area by national standards.I work 24 hour shifts My schedule runs on a 56-Hour work week that starts at 8AM and ends 8AM the following day. 24on/24off/24on/24off/24on/ Then at the end I have four days off. Even though on my off I'm sometimes I work a little bit extra on in between days. So I would need someone to be with them throughout almost a whole week with some reprieve on inbetween days dependent on what kind of overtime opportunities are available to me.
