About Us
We are a fun-loving family of three soon to be four, in Oneonta NY. We have a toddler daughter 18 months old, and another is on the way, due in March. We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a year or more. Get to know our daughter and help us welcome baby number two to the family. We would greatly value someone with 3+ years of experience as a nanny, who can teach us a few parenting tricks along the way, and who will be open to following a schedule as our family grows to four. Ideally, candidates bring great energy and ideas to engage and entertain babies through their toddler years, in a way that will help them reach milestones and find joy every day.
Pay is ____/hour pre-tax, plus overtime
Major Holidays off
Ideal hours but flexible for the right person
Monday-Friday 8 am - 3 pm; Flexibility to work extended hours, but we’ll provide the additional hours well in advance.

Nanny Qualities and Skills Required
3+ years of experience
Non-smoker
Must have a valid driver’s license, (having your own vehicle is considered an asset)
Organization skills
CPR and first-aid certification
Multitasking skills
Open communication
Vaccinated candidate preferred
Responsibilities
Following nap schedule
Changing diapers
Making meals a day plus snacks
Cooking organic meals
Laundry
Light housekeeping: baby dishes/bottles, wiping down highchair, organizing toys
Planning activities and outings
quick daily summary of day example. naps, potty, etc
Occasional errands with kids (picking up food at the grocery store)
Clean up the play area
