Hello! We are looking for a nanny to watch our son who was born in August 2023 after my maternity leave (around April 2024). He will be about 7 months old then. My husband works from home full time and I am at home 2-3 days a week, so we are open to a flexible schedule during the week. But ideally would like some structured schedules for our work schedules - we are open to discussing hours and finding what works best. We live in La Mesa.

Our son is super chill, eats well, sleeps well, doesn’t cry unless there’s a reason. In August, he’ll be 4.5 months old - just hitting that super fun age where the baby giggles start

We’re seeking a native Spanish speaker who will speak exclusively Spanish with him. We’re not fluent ourselves, but we’re wanting to learn—and we hope to send him to a bilingual school. Language exposure and connection are extremely important to us!

Responsibilities
• Full care for our infant during the day
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote language, motor, and social development
• Speak Spanish only with Harland
• Maintain a daily log or send texts with updates
• Light housework during naps:
• Unload dishwasher
• Baby laundry
• Keep nursery tidy
• Occasional meal prep help for us
• As he grows:
• Comfortable driving him to activities (using our car)
• Prepare healthy meals for him
